Sorry No New info but I Did Find Other Things That you All Might Like to See

As you all can see by the title there is no new info today, but I did find some cool pics and a little bit of info.

Pictures 1-3

These pictures show the posable new sprites for the Johto starter pokemon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile 

This picture above show that the new games might be comeing out in Japan some time in September of 2009 and what the covers of these games might look like.

Now for the some info not about the gold and silver remakes but it is about the next pokemon mystery dungens game (Pokemon Mystery Dungens Explorers of the Sky)

This game has been out in Japan since April and now the US will be getting it some time this October.

So that is all the info I have for today so I will see you next week or when there is more new info on the new pokemon games.

A Look Back in Time For Pokemon Gold and Silver

Welcome to to a look back at the original Pokemon Gold and Silver versions for the Gameboy Colour. Today I will be focusing on the starting point of the two games, New Bark Town otherwise known as "The Town Where the Winds of a New Beginning Blow". To help emphasis the town's motto, wind vanes have been added to the residential houses and laboratory in the upcoming Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Trainers leave New Bark Town from the west unlike every other starting town which has you heading north. Only ten people live in New Bark Town giving it the smallest population in the Johto region. Despite the lack of residence, this is the town where Prof. Elm lives and thus all trainers much travel here in order to get their first Pokemon, the trainer you take control of just happens to conveniently live here. New Trainers have the choice of either a Chikorita, Cyndaquil or Totodile (pictured below) however one you've picked your starter, a trainer by the name of Silver will break into Prof. Elm's lab and steal a Pokemon which trumps your own, he can be seen in the image below planing he's break in on the left of the Pokemon lab.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the Nintendo DS has greatly improved on the graphics and style of New Bark Town adding much more detail, colour and appeal to the location.

New info on Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Today Sunday May 17, 2009 the official Japanese website showed the new art work for Ho-Oh and Lugia along with some new gameplay footage.

As far as I know, the release date for this game in Japan will be sometime in September. Last year platinum came out around the same time, so we should get these games here in the US around the same time as we got platinum last year.

Lastly for today, it seems that every Sunday until Heart Gold and Soul Silver comes out, the Japanese show, Pokemon Sunday will be showing new artwork, gameplay footage,new sprite artwork and the name for the new female character introduced in these games and more.
